Explore a wide array of evil through Ukiyo-E artwork! A compilation of approximately 100 works featuring a diverse lineup of villains,
from people who actually lived, including historical figures who capture the essence of evil such as the likes of Nezumi Kozō Jirokichi
and Kira Kōzuke no Suke, minor villains and villainesses, sorcerers and others, to legendary characters from folklore. In addition to
famous works such as Utagawa Toyokuni III’s Ishikawa Goemon and “Tōkaidō Yotsuya Kaidan”, Utagawa Hiroshige’s “Chūshingura Youchi San:
Honmō” and Tsukioka Yoshitoshi’s “The Fever of Taira no Kiyomori,” works depicting crimes born out of cursed love, such as the “Edo Stalker”
Seigen and Sakura-Hime are featured alongside others, accompanied by commentary sprinkled with humor. A collection bursting with charm,
